There is a viewpoint observing the falls on the same trailhead leading to Barr Creek Falls. Once in the parking lot you'll follow the Boise Bascade trail till you hit a fork. Close by the viewpoint you'll find a cliff-like trail leading down about 100 feet from Mill Creek Falls. This trail leads to the put in of those who dare to kayak the insane rapids. These rapids can reach up to class 5 depending on the time of year. OregonPilot.com had the opportunity to film a few groups putting in for their class 5 ride.
