Devil's Churn

Best observed during high tide, Devil's Churn is an easy stop off of Oregon Coast Highway. Known for its relentless churning water, this rocky volcanic scenic viewpoint is a mesmerizing sight to take in. Travel down the switchback path and find yourself face to face with the explosive waves reaching their way into the sky.

Thor's Well & Spouting Horn

Thor's Well, also known as the drainpipe of the Pacific Ocean, is a hole that fills up and drains with water as the waves come crashing in. There is also a slit in the rock near Thor's Well that shoots water in a spouting manner when the waves come crashing in perfectly.

Yachats State Recreation Area

Known for it's playful seals and whale sightings Yachats State Recreation Area is right off the Highway making it an easy location for families to stop and enjoy the sunshine. If you time your tide right you will occupy your time with hours of exploring on rocks and spectating the ocean life activity.

Smith River Craigs Creek Trailhead

Spaning over 710 square miles the Smith River is a great place to relax and take the family. Travel along Highway 199 (Redwood Highway) and stop anywhere outside the road lines. Pack a lunch because you will not want to leave this refreshing river.

Lower Table Rock Trailhead

Beginner friendly 2.2 mile hike (one way) takes you ontop of the insane flat lower table rock viewpoint. Look out over the city of Eagle Point, White City, and Medford Oregon.

Hellgate Canyon

A beautiful 27 mile stretch along the Rogue River known as Hellgate Canyon featuring camping, white water rapids for kayers/rafters, Jetboat tours, wildlife such as deer/beavers/turtle/birds, and ample fun all summer long.

Salt Creek Falls

Salt Creek Falls holds the title for Oregon's 2nd highest single-drop waterfall coming in at a stacking 286 feet. There is a viewing platform that is less than 100 feet from the waterfall giving you plenty locations to grab a view.

Mill Creek Falls

Mill Creek Falls is a 173 foot single drop waterfall neighboring Barr Creek Falls. These waterfalls feed into the Rogue River Gorge. Mill Creek Falls is known for the put in location for Rogue River Rorge's gnarly class 5 rapids.

Thunder Rock Cove
