Salt Creek Falls is a must see 286 foot waterfall located 1h 30m southeast of Eugene. Stand within 20 feet of the falls at the easily accessible viewing platform, paved and wheelchair accessible. Salt Creek Falls ranks as Oregon's 2nd highest single drop waterfall, and it surely brings a smile to everyone's face.
No hiking needed, from the parking lot you will see a picnic area and bathrooms. Enjoy the heavily shaded trail along the calmly flowing creek. Following Salt Creek less than 150 feet spits you out at the large viewing platform that continues and bends around overlooking the stunning falls.

Salt Creek Falls parking lot loop is about 1 hour and 30 minutes southwest of Eugene. You take OR-58, also known as Willamette Highway (hwy), the majority of the way.

FROM EUGENE
- Salt Creek Falls is 55 miles southeast of Eugene
- Take OR-58 E (Willamette Hwy) for 54 miles
- Turn right onto NF-5893
- Take first right; go through the green gate and follow that for 0.4 miles
- If the gate is closed (in the winter) you can park in front and walk
- You will arrive at the loop parking lot
- $5 parking fee if you park in the paved loop
